Terms & Conditions

A deposit to secure an order or booking is charged at 50% of fee, payable on booking. The balance is due 14 days prior the event.  I accept cash, cheque or direct bank transfer. 

For orders made less than 14 days prior to an event full payment is required.

Hire prices are for one days use, which covers 3 days (delivery, your event and collection). 

Longer hire periods can be accommodated.

All items remain the property of 'Delicious' at all times.

All items hired from 'Delicious' remain the responsibility of the hirer, including loss or breakages and if left at other premises.

Returnable damage deposit of £75 is required, payable at time of balance payment (14 days before event date) by separate cheque, or cash or bank transfer. This will be returned once all items have been returned and checked. In the event of items being broken or damaged these must be reported before collection and returned wrapped in paper.  Cups, saucers and small plates will be charged at £5. Sugar bowls, milk jugs and cake slices will be charged at £10, cake plates £10.00, cake stands and teapots £35, cutlery £2.50 per item and tablecloths £10.00. Missing items (which have not been returned broken) will be charged at £10 per item, £40 for teapots and £35 for cake stands.

'Delicious' accept no responsibility in the event of any injury, accident or damage caused by the use of or the presence of hire equipment during or after the hire period.

Orders over £100 will be delivered free of charge within 10 miles of Brookmans Park otherwise will be charge at £10 plus 45p per mile.

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to event date are charged at 50%. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to event date are charged at 100%.  Cancellations must be made in writing and any outstanding payment settled within 30 days of cancellation.

Prices quoted at time of deposit payment to secure booking will be honoured to the date of event.

Please be aware that these are complete sets accept where stated.  Due to the nature of vintage items there may be signs of wear, such as to gilt, but there will be NO cracks to the china.

Washing up is included in the hire charges. Set up and pack away are NOT included in the hire charge unless agreed before hand.

Please empty any liquids and scrape off any uneaten food before repacking hired items back into boxes.

Please note sets must be packed ready to be collected at agreed time.  Remember to retain the packaging for repacking the items.

If items are washed during hire period for reuse, the hirer agrees not to use a dishwasher or high-pressure water spray.  Please simply use hot water and soap, then either air dry or hand dry with soft tea towel.
